If you just want something to chuck in your backpack so you can keep connected at school or on the road this $90 Android tablet should do the trick.
The 7 inch touch screen device is small enough not to take up to much room and that low price tag means you won’t be too concerned if it get a few knocks and scrapes while on the move.
Battery life is around 4-5 hours of use which should be enough to watch a couple of movies of either the 2Gb of built in memory or off an SD card (up to 8Gb).
Other nice features are the built in web-cam, WIFI and the Android app store built in (believe it or not many of these Android tabs don’t get the app store!!).
