The dual-core
JiaYu G3, a
4.5 inch phone from China which is rumored to cost as little as $125 has still to arrive, although sources are now saying a September
date is likely, but this hasn't stopped JiaYu fans from discussing the JiaYu
G4's spec!
The latest news concerning the JiaYu G3's release date is that we are likely to see it sometime in September (unless they decided to change the colour or find another area they want to improve on!), but in true form die-hard fans of JiaYu have already started pondering what the specification of the next generation JiaYu phone will be!
As we all know what the G3's specs are and we have seen plenty of photos, it makes sense that fans are trying to keep the excitement alive by speculating the G4 and its harware.
Fans are suggesting that the new
G4 will come with either a 4.3 or 4.
7 inch screen with a resolution of at least 1280 x 800. The minimum battery size will be 2000mAh, and the body will be extremely thin yet durable with hoped measurements being around
9mm.
The rear
camera on the JiaYu
G4 is expected to be a 12 mega-pixel unit while the front
camera will be either a 3 or 5 mega-pixel lens.
Of course most fans are hoping the
G4 will get a
quad-core CPU and although it will probably be MTK's
quad-core offering, there is the possibility it could get the Nvidia Tegra 3
quad-core CPU which has dropped in price and is already available in some
Chinese Android tablets.
While clockspeeds of the
CPU haven't been discussed in much details the amount of
RAM and
ROM has, with most fans hoping for at least 2GB
RAM and 8GB ROM!
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is also expected to installed on the JiaYu G4 along with integration of a Siri like personal assistant much like what Xiaomi have done with iFlytek.
What are your hopes for the
JiaYu G4?
