Huawei Ascend D2 launched at CES

Huawei are having a very busy CES with the launch of their large screen 6.1-inch Ascend Mate, and now the fist official look at the 5-inch Huawei Ascend D2.

Of the 2 phones, the Huawei Ascend D2 is likely going to be the more popular. Not just due to the smaller 5-inch form factor, but also thanks to the impressive flagship specification which can easily compete with the likes of the Droid DNA and Oppo Find 5.

Gizchina News of the week

As rumoured the Ascend D2 has a 13-mega-pixel rear camera (likely a Sony Exymor Pro), a Huawei quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5ghz, a 5-inch 1080 display and a 3000mAh battery.

What’s more, Huawei also say they have gone to great lengths to make the Ascend D2 as durable as possible, and so have made the phone dust and water-resistant.

Which do you guy’s prefer? The Ascend Mate or D2?

I am eyeing the Huawei Ascend D2, its specs are just awesome, and that size is what i want. Hopefully it comes with 2-GB RAM, internal storage of at least 32 GB (wish it has 64-GB choice too) and supports external SD slot 🙂 Come on Huawei, has the confidence to pit against the Samesong at the highest specs!!

Will watch out the ZTE Grand S and Oppo Find 5 as well. Awaiting these handsets in SEA marketplaces at the soonest.

    Best value for Money 🙂
