The sheer number of quad-core MT6589 phones coming to the market this year is astonishing, and with so many manufacturers working out of the same towns and even factories it’s no wonder handsets look similar! Take the Verne V5 which looks a lot like the ZP810.
Not only is the outward appearance very similar to the forthcoming ZP810 from Zopo, but the specification is near identical too. As you can see the rear camera is a 8 mega-pixel sensor with LED flash and that display is a 5-inch unit.
The similarities continue under the hood too with a quad-core MT6589 processor running the phone. We expect there will also me 1GB RAM, dual-sim support and a micro SD card reader too, but these details are to be confirmed.
We’re also waiting on the price of the phone, but due to the competition we don’t expect it will cost much more than 999 Yuan ($160)

I think all these “manufacturers” are just one, named Ningbo (Bird(.

These “manufacturers” are just “manufacturing” their name on a Ningbo product.
This can explain why almost all these new MT6589 smartphones have the same looking.
I am right?
