Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2 lock screen security bug found!


Have you ever left your phone on a table with you mates when visiting the bathroom only to discover them browsing your private gallery, running up expensive calls or texting that special someone you’ve had your eye on? Of course you have, that’s what mates are for! Fortunately a secure lock screen can be your saviour form embarrassment, unless you happen to own a Samsung Galaxy S3 of Note 2!

Bugs on both phones have been found enabling the lock screen to be bypasses with a few quick clicks of the keys! On the Note 2 apps can be opened from the home screen without entering a lock screen password, while the S3’s security can be completely disabled allowing full access to the phone!

It’s unclear if Samsung have been made aware of this bug and are working on it or not, but in case you want to replicate it yourself here’s a video of how to pull it off on a Note 2
