Gizchina News of the week

Yesterday we reported that sources in Shenzhen claim that 300,000 MT6589 quad-core equipped phones are currently being assembled ready for a launch on April 9th, but in the past we have seen benchmarks of Xiaomi device running a dual-core Snapdragon processor and reaching Antutu scores of around 18,000.

Reports are now surfacing that 2 new phones could arrive on April 9th one a low-cost Xiaomi Mi2S which will sport a Mediatek chip and a higher range model called the Mi2a which a Qualcomm MSM8930 dual-core clocked at 1.7Ghz.
