Oppo N-lens, a Chinese Nokia Lumia 1020 alternative?

Next month Oppo will unveil their latest and boldest creation, the Oppo N-lens! A device which will take on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom and the Nokia Lumia 1020!

Oppo have officially gone on the record to tease about the N-les, an Android smartphone/camera mash-up, but we still don’t have any clue to how the device will look, what processor it will run and the features it will come with.

Gizchina News of the week

Details are few and far between, and their are plenty of obviously fake renders about, but sources at Oppo have, unofficially. mentioned that the new phone will feature a 5.5-inch 1080 display and at least a Snapdragon 600 quad-core CPU!

Nothing else is known about the N-Lens, but it is safe to say that it is going to be one of the most exciting and individual products to come out of China in 2013!

Not likely, they’ll be keeping that for Find 7. I’m really excited for this though. I do like the Find 5’s camera, although I did feel it was a little underwhelming when I first tried it. Hopefully this changes everything. Also, if it does have a Snapdragon 600 instead of 800, it will STILL be the most powerful camera phone on the market 😛 .

Large image sensor in mobile phones almost translates in bulky phones. In my opinion, Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom looks rediculous. Nokia Lumia 1020 looks better, but it is only a Windows phone.

Honami mini is rumored to use the same camera as Honami big brother, and they’re 4.3″ phone. Unless you don’t consider 20MP large enough for a mobile phone…

4.3= Too small for me to enjoy photos on a camera phone, and it’s gonna be really expensive unlocked ’cause it’z So-knee.

This is where we’re hoping they’ll be able to fill that gap, by providing a good camera phone in the android market segment (I don’t consider the S4 Zoom a good camera android phone =_=)

What are people thoughts on the Nokia Lumia 1020 ? It looks magnificent. My only gripe with it, is that its running Windows – so has very few apps. Hopefully this will change big time in the next few years

Given Nokia’s aggressive pricing strategy with some decent phones like the Lumia 520, I would agree with you on Windows getting a tonne more apps per day in the coming years.

Given how windows 8 phone still struggle to gain market share regardless, I would be not so optimistic.
