TCL Y910 Full HD Phablet receives network license

Chinese phone maker and owners of Alcatel have just received the official stamp of approval for a new 6-inch FHD phablet named the TCL Y910.

TCL and Alacatel have had a great year with some wonderful phones such as the TCL Idol X. However good the X is though it is ‘only’a 5-inch phone! With the popularity in increased screen size TCL have developed the 6-inch TCL Y910 phablet.

Gizchina News of the week

Strangely this top of the range phablet has just a 2 mega-pixel front and 8 mega-pixel rear camera which are a little lower than we expect especially when the rest of the phone includes a 1.5Ghz MT6589T processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB memory, and wireless charging all in a body measuring just 138.5 x 80.6 x 8.5mm.

Our sources suggest a retail price of around 230 Euros when launched, and the phone should go on the market in Europe and China.

Is this what the Scribe X has evolved to? As the Scibe HD that recently got internationalised as an Alcatel device was the Y900 that been selling for a while in China. I really wished Alcatel can launch their international versions same time as TCL. As it does not do them justice to wait until the devices are somewhat a bit out of date before they launch outside of China.
