Xiaomi fever continues with more reports point at the Android Xiaomi TV which will be available in both 47-inch and 55-inch options!
Since the Xiaomi TV rumours began we have only seen evidence that a single 47-inch smart TV is on the way, but new evidence says that a 55-inch model will also be available. Pricing for the Xiaomi TV should start at around 4999 Yuan ($816) for the 47-inch option rising to 5999 Yuan ($979) for the 55-inch model.

The Xiaomi TV will run a modified version of Android OS rather than Google TV, and will likely feature the same UI as the system on the Xiaomi Box.
Android smart TV’s are gaining popularity here in China thanks to their low price and the add functionality which can be adding to them by simply installing Android applications and games.

it seems like quite bad deal to me. 32″ LED I can buy in chinese supermarket from 1300RMB, 39″ from 2100RMB, 42″ around maybe 2800-3000RMB, I don’t really see how is 47″ for 4000RMB particularly good price (for this price is not problem to buy even 50″), smart Tv android capability is matter of 100-200RMB dongle plugged into TV, go here for example for some sales at JD.com
