Snapdragon 800 Xiaomi Mi3

Launch news of the Mi3 is great, however most fans (especially international hopefuls) are waiting for the WCDMA compatible Snapdragon 800 model, but this version has yet to go in to mass production! The reason for the delay is due to Xiaomi’s decision to skip the current 8974 SoC and for the for the updated 8974AB model with improved GPU performance.

Crap, was really looking forward to the S800 version. It seems the next 2 months we should see some great releases, so I’ll postpone my purchase till the end of November. Maybe I’ll get a new phone for christmas that way 🙂
