UMi X1 Pro hitting stores soon?

Could the UMi X1 be making a comeback? UMi say ‘Yes’ and recent E-commerce listings confirm the arrival of the refreshed new phone!

The UMi X1 launched back in 2012 as a flagship dual-core smarpthone with 720p display, earlier this year it was reintroduced as the UMi X1S with quad-core MT6595 quad-core chipset.

Gizchina News of the week

For 2014 the X1 is set to launch once again as the UMi X1 Pro with an all new design, chipset and low price. The X1 Pro actually looks like a tempting Hongmi replacement and features a 1.3Ghz MT6582 chipset, 1GB RAM, Android 4.2 and a 4.7-inch 720p display. The design of the phone gets a HTC One look from the front and a Nubia Z5 on the rear, which is also where you will find a rear facing camera which may be a 5MP or 8MP unit.

According to this Pandawill listing which GizChina reader Romanos sent over to us, the UMi X1 Pro will cost $119.99. Good price or overpriced?
