They should start sending phones for those who actually bought them, cuz im waiting second week for my tracking number they said that they will send next day.
This is really stupid way to do giveaway and other FREE gifts competitions. I have to annoy all of my friends on facebook and other sites just to (maybe) get chance to win? How stupid is it? Why do not you make a quiz or something like this? The phone is already in pocket of one of the admin’s pocket anyway.

I have to agree. It’s nice to be able to win something, but these types of set ups are a total scam. The value of this type of advertising they will receive if even 50 people do this (assuming the average couple hundred friends at a minimum) makes the “prize” cost drops in a bucket. It’s also just pretty toxic advertising. I’m fine to share and like, hell, I’ll tag a friend or two that I know would enjoy similar technology, but this is complete overkill. They’re using contestants like a spam botnet.

We’re just trying something new. We have seen other sites offering something similar and though we would give it a go too. Comments like this help us when arranging the next giveaway, there are 2 on the way and we will do our best to make it less spammy

Cheers Andi, very happy to see such a fast response to fans criticisms. I’m always happy to share Gizchina and spread awareness and info for the awesome phones many don’t even hear of, I just don’t want to harass my family, friends, and colleagues that couldn’t care less about mobile news π
I’d love a new phone, considering I’m still on a 20$ Samsung phone which ‘big’ feature is a calculator, and not much more, and this phone pretty much ticks all the boxes I would love (NFC, 2GB, 32GB, great cams, etc), but I have to agree with everyone else here, that I won’t lower myself to spam my friends for my own personal greed.
Andi it’s not the way to win associates to this site mate. All these things might look good for your profile but it denigrates what you have done so far. Thanks for the offer of a new phone but please lets come up with something that will mean more to the folk here on Gizchina the site will then grow through friendship not greed.

One problem is that if we did this for the UMI X2 giveaway then the only way to participate is to get any friends to unlike and relike. A way of punishing long term readers for their loyalty π

Andi, don’t be greedy! Learn a little bit about social media marketing instead of actually buying “like”s. Everybody hate spam. Great bloggers build audience with hard work, just like you started to build. Steps like this are counterproductive in my opinion.
