2GB RAM Gionee Elife E7 scores over 34,000 on Antutu

The Gionee Elife E7 is now available to buy here in China (as long as you don’t want the flagship 4G LTE model) and customers are finally getting to test the Snapdragon 800 phone for themselves, so how does it perform?

Gionee shook the smartphone world with the announcement of the Gionne Elife E7. The phone is nothing like what Gionee have offered before and features a powerful Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB RAM and amazing 16 mega-pixel main camera with one of the most advanced camera apps we have seen to date. The WCDMA 3G model of the Gionee Elife E7 is on sale now in China, and at a starting price of just 2699 Yuan represents a seriously good deal!

gionee elife e7 antutu

Customers who have received their phone have already posted Antutu scores from the phone exceeding 34,000 points. Not bad considering this isn’t the flagship version of the phone! We can’t wait to see what the 4G LTE version is capable of!

    Available for sale already?

Anyway, is it running Snadragon 800-AB (the kind found in Xiaomi Mi3), or is it just the regular one?

Hoping to get one this month when it launches in Taiwan. I’m curious if anyone can comment on the built in speakers. It’s not a huge deal of course but its always nice to know about. Also the audio output quality (with headphones) and batter life. I was really planning on a mi3, but its just too damn late so I’ve decided to get the e7. The mi3 probably wins on the audio front with its high end DAC and should win in battery life as well, but that E7 camera… Just too awesome.

Edit: Just saw a hands on video demonstrating the gameplay quality of the phone. The speakers are LOUD AND CLEAR! This phone is a definite go, just waiting patiently (actually rabidly) for the Taiwan release!

I had a look for one today. Seems we can only buy them online in China through JD, Suning and Gome. The Camera is what’s getting me too 🙂
