After a
teaser only a day back,
OPPO's latest, the
OPPO Neo has gone official and
on sale in
Indonesia for just $215!
Priced Rp 2,599,000 or an equivalent of about $215, the
device is seen as an entry-level to mid-range
device. As seen in yesterday's
teaser, the
device will indeed have a 4.5-inch
screen, with an
FWVGA resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
OPPO has not outed info on
RAM yet, but it is believed that a 512MB
RAM module would go along the 1.3GHz dual-core processor under the hood. On the imaging front, the
device is driven by a 5 mega-pixel rear in conjunction with a 2 mega-pixel front.
Like most
OPPO phones that have taken shape lately, the
OPPO Neo too will run on the company's Android flavour of choice -- ColorOS, based on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean. The
device will be glove-friendly, allowing operation while wearing gloves. A 1900mAh battery would be supplying juice to the internals.
The
OPPO Neo is only available in the Indonesian market for now, with no word on a release in other markets.
