Pomp C6S getting an octacore processor

The Pomp C6 was one of the surprise phones of late last year, which stunning specs and equally appealing build quality! The next version aims to be even better with an octacore chipset on board.

The Pomp C6 was the first flagship phone that Pomp had produced, but despite it’s great design and specifications it came a little to late to the party. By the time the MT6589T C6 went on sale, rival venders were already offering octacore units.

Still the C6 is a good phone, and it is about to get a little better with a planned 1.7Ghz MT6592 octacore update. This new model will be sold as the Pomp C6S and will benefit from all the same features as the original model.

For those of you not familiar with the Pomp C6 or the Pomp C6S the device has a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 display, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, electronic compass, NFC, OTG, MHL, 8 mega-pixel front camera, 13 mega-pixel rear, 3000mAh battery and dual sim support (WCDMA and GSM).

Pomp are hoping to sell the C6S at the same low price as the quad-core version so pricing of around $280 should be possible.

The only thing wrong with this BRAND POMP is that they have no customer service. Why would you buy a phone that will not talk about faults. Friends I am so disappointed with this BRAND.

They don’t make the phones themselves so I would not expect them to reply about flaws.

There you have it in a nutshell. An idea without any ownership.

If only it was to come with the 2.0GHz MT6592, I would think of buying it.
But I could still consider to buy it considering that it is coming with MHL and OTG (NFC not important to me)
