OOne O1 2Ghz Octacore phone pre-orders begin, but it isn’t cheap!

oone

OOne have released real photos, partial specs and pricing for their 2Ghz Mediatek phone, but the high quality build comes at a very high price!

New phone maker OOne want to bring a high-quality Android phone to fans of Mediatek devices. The phone they have produced, the OOne O1, certainly does look the part but we can’t help thinking their asking price is a little optimistic!

Priced at 3299 Yuan ($527), the OOne O1 costs more than a Xiaomi Mi3, OnePlus One, Meizu MX3 and even the Oppo Find 7a! OOne hope that customers will be attracted to their phone due to the Corning Gorilla Glass layered body, 99g lightweight and 5.67mm body.

oone

OOne have also added Dolby Stereo to the phone for improved audio, 2GB RAM, top of the range 2.0Ghz octacore MT6592 chipset and custom ROM with enhanced security.

Strangely OOne have upped for a 5-inch display with HD 1280 x 720 resolution and an 8 mega-pixel Sony rear camera on the phone which is way below the standards this high price would suggest.

Preorders begin today for the dual SIM WCDMA, TD-SCDMA 3G phone, with colour options being either black, gold or silver. More details can be seen on the OOne website.

You got it right, they are loco.

      Yes. Apparently they are delusional.

Even worse, They couldn’t even name the company (or the phone) without stealing OnePlus’ trademark.

Maybe it is a trick from Apple to get prices higher! Seriously, even the hardware does not worth this price!

If Gorilla Glass is my thingy then Iocean X8 is it. If performance and a thin profile makes me go gaga, then Nubia Z5S it is. This phone (Oone) at that price? Is utter rubbish.

8 Megapixel can be even better than 13 if the Sensor is bigger. That would be an argument and interesting to know (on the off chance that somebody there is a pro). The price is a little high and this thin thing is totally ridiculous. I dont care if its 5,5mm or 8,5mm. Both are adequate. With 8.5mm there is more room for battery and dual SIM.

Does this thing have dual SIM?

Oh just saw, ok its dual SIM. Now the question with the Camera Sensor remains. That would be great Andi if you could get a statement there if it were anything special from Sony or something others use as well.

I think you’re missing something here. You’re looking for some technical reasons for an 8MP camera, 3G and a 720p screen, and you’re missing the obvious one: GREED.

It appears that the major innovation here is to be the first Chinese manufacturer with Apple-like margins.

Andi why spend time and posts on frauds like that. It’s clearly a marketing trick from someone.

Better spend the time by giving us a list of all the brands that will or have updated their phones to 4.4 Those brands will be the good ones for me. After sales support is the biggest problem with china phones
