Mystery Gionee device spotted running Android 4.4 based Amigo OS

Following in the footsteps of other manufacturers, Gionee are also working on bringing Android 4.4 to their phones running Amigo OS.

They image of a mystery Gionee phone was posted over on GizChina.es earlier today. The photo shows that Android 4.4 KitKat will also be making it’s way on to Gionee phones such as the Elife E7 and E7 Mini (and possibly OEM Gionee phones) in the near future.

Interestingly the model number for the phone has been blacked out leading us to believe that Gionee could also be readying a new phone for launch. With just the image to go off very little is known, but if those bezels are anything to go by it will likely be a mid-range phone.
