Xiaomi Redmi Note prices drop below $200

redmi note

Xiaomi Redmi Note prices take a slight drop meaning the advanced version of the phone can be bought for less than $200.

The advanced model of the Xiaomi Redmi Note has been on sale outside of China in WCDMA format for a few weeks now, and as stock levels increase resellers have been able to get the phones at lower costs and pass on the savings.

Gizchina News of the week

Now the WCDMA Redmi Note, with octacore 1.7Ghz processor, 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel main camera and large battery can be ordered internationally for just $196.99 through SPEmall complete with shipping.

The only downside is that the price will only be available for the next 4 days so you best act quick or you may lose out.

        Mind the fact that Hugo Barra announced that the international price would be $159. So $40 more as commission is very royal. The Note is around the same price setting as the Hongmi and the Hongmi 1S is now cheaper to get than the orginal Hongmi. I will wait until the price of the Note drops even more.

          Indeed…the prices for the Note are still up. Perhaps they may go down in July when they will launch their new LTE phones. Will see …

    @Andi

    I didn’t mind a clue about a cheaper way of getting phones.

    Do you have any idea what FDD-LTE-frequencies will the new MT6595, respectively its modem MT6169 support in Dualsim-versions?

    It’s even unclear to me, what the Dualsim Qualcomm SoC (801) are able to use.
    If I look at the Nubia X6, I’m still missing FDD-LTE-Band 20 for full LTE-coverage here in Germany. We’re using the Bands 3, 7, 20.

    You’re closer to the source.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards

      Hi, nope not until it launches. But if it is like current Mediatek phones it will really be up to the developer to activate support for frequencies (however most Chinese companies only activate a few). Let’s keep our fingers crosssd that we will see better international support for the MT6595 😉
