A simple screenshot from Meizu founder, Jack Wong, might not seem like hot news on the surface but the details confirm some of the rumour we have for the Meizu MX4.
Where Oppo, OnePlus etc like to hype up their devices with teasers, Meizu have been keeping things very quiet and simply letting fans and tipsters do all the word for them, well with a little helping hand from key Meizu personal. Founder of Meizu Jack Wong, for example posted this innocent looking screenshot just last night, but a closer look at the details reveals some facts about the Meizu MX4.
The 4G LTE signal icon is the most obvious piece of information here, so we can check that off the list of possiblites for the new Meizu flagship. On closer inspection the resolution of the screenshot also gives away a large clue! This isn’t the first time a Meizu MX4 screenshot has been seen with a QHD 2K resolution of 2560 x 1536. Lastly there is the screen ratio which appears to be 15:9.
Gizchina News of the week
Also, like the screenshots posted yesterday, this device is looks to be running Flyme 4.0 with a clear smartbar along the bottom. So 2K display, new Flyme 4.0 OS, 15:9 resolution and 4G LTE are some of our guesses for the MX4. Let’s hope we don’t need to wait too long before the launch.

someone please call mr Wong to make 1080p, 2K is marketing bullsht. mainstream now knows what 1080p means and they kinda dig it. Only enthusiasts and geeks knows about 2K and understand that it is ridiculous on 5,5″ screen.
You are clearly not reading chinese characters on a daily basis…
you are clearly not a geek
I agree, 2K screens on a (>) 5″ screen is marketing bullshit, knowing that most people do not even have a 1080p screen in their laptop computer or on desktop screen (were a viewing distance is not that much bigger compared to the use of a phone or tablet screen).
Oh please let USA buy the mx4
