Android one is not an OS, and the device detailed and pictured here is the huawei honor 3c play, which has been lanched and mentioned here weeks ago

ROFL you must be on drugs.
This has nothing to do with Android One, nothing at all.
Besides that this is just the Honor 3C Play renamed to Holly, not at all a new device.

Android 1 or not this is still a very good phone from an established manufacturer with really good specs and will interest a lot of people in India unable to get a Redmi 1S. I personally feel that this should be able to provide much needed competition to Xiaomi in entry level..which incidentally constitutes a major chunk of Indian Smartphone market. A Gizchina review will go a long way in helping readers in India.

Guys do you actually know What Android One is?

It is basically an entry level nexus kind of device. It will be running the pure version of Android and will be getting regular OS updates same like Nexus right from Google. Either your information is wrong or you have posted a wrong photo, because as far as I can see the phone in the photo runs Emotion UI. So, my guess is this device will be Huawei’s competitor to the Android One line up.

Andi I think this phone is trying to be a competitor of android one not actually running the os.

This is not an android one phone from huawei as it runs huawei’s own emotion UI.
