Meizu release Flyme 4.0.3i for international MX4

If you are one of the lucky owners of the Meizu MX4 International model, then you will want to be updating your phone to the latest version of Flyme 4.0.3 for the phone.

Meizu have kept to their word and are updating the firmware on the Meizu MX4 much quicker than previous versions. The latest official stable build of Flyme 4, is version 4.0.3I, the ‘I’ meaning it is designed only to be used with the International version of the Meizu MX4.

The updates weighs in at 615mb and sees but fixes and stability optimisations to the camera, messaging, gallery and general system wide improvements.

Users quick to update have already commented that the new update is much better than the previous Flyme 4.0.2I version.

    Versions 4.0.3A U and C (C-China Mainland version, U-China Unicom, A-all others :)) were available even earlier so it’s not only for international MX4 🙂

      If I get an mx4 from a seller on aliexpress which version removes all the chinese apps A, U or C?

        None, all has it. Only I version is free of Chinese apps.

          Will I be able to install the I version if I buy the phone from china or is it incompatible?

            I think it is incoatibile, people say that i cannot be installed on 460 version(chinese). If you buy Chinese version you should instal A version it’s closest to international version (with some chinese apps).

              Hi Stiven, yes, i would also appreciated! have the cellphone know but it comes with the U version. how can i swtich? also i install google play but it is blocked, every time i try to get in in freezes! could help me and Joe? thanks!

      Only difference is locked boitloader in chinese version.

              It might be possible and pretty easy to do if you can get it into fastboot mode and then unlocking the bootloader through command prompt or terminal. I know this is possible with OPO and Coolpad. I’m getting my device this week or next week and will try to help.
