OnePlus teams up with Waves to bring MaxxAudio to the OPO

OnePlus have announced that their OnePlus One flagship will gain the same audio enhancements as it’s older brother the Oppo Find 7.

The OnePlus One is based off the hardware of the Oppo Find 7, but some of the features of the Find 7 are missing off the “flagship killer” but are now being added to the device in updates.

OnePlus have just announced on their blog that they have teamed up with Waves to bring MaxxAudio audio enhancements to the OPO. The news says that the added audio capabilities with will be added to the next Cyanogen OTA update due next month.

According to Carl Pei, Co-founder of OnePlus, there are more updates in store for the OnePlus One which will keep the phone competitive in to next year. We can’t wait to see what those updates will be.

    Awesome! Hope they bring in the much needed wireless charging too/ The SD 801 chipset is very capable.

    How MaxxAudio will help with Cyanogen Updates? According to rumors Oneplus One uses Yamaha audio chip and not the MaxxAudio like OPPO Find7 )

    Oh ok. So they will just put the EQ over: “Our team worked closely with MaxxAudio to perfect the software integration through the new version of the AudioFX app we developed.” What a revolution) OPO should fix the lowlight FPS camera issue instead of this Audio FX
