Vivo Y29L, mid-range Gorilla Glass covered phone images teased

Vivo might be more famous for its range of high-end phones, but they also make quite a collection of entry-level and mid-range beauties like the new Vivo Y29l.

In the past we didnā€™t really concern ourselves with Vivoā€™s lower cost phones as they all worked exclusively on China Mobileā€™s limited TD networks. Over the past few months though, Vivo have opened markets in other Asian markets with the most recent being India, where FDD equipped phones will be needed (those are the type we like to see).

According to the specifications the Vivo Y29L will be a mid-range phone with similar specs as the new Xiaomi Redmi 2, Snapdragon 410, Dual LTE, 1GB RAM, HD display, 2000mAh battery etc. There are some differences though such as support for up to 128GB SD cards, a 13 megapixel rear camera and Gorilla Glass panels both front and rear.

Pricing will also be higher than the affordable Redmi 2, but for users who want a lot more quality and better design, the Vivo could fit the bill.

The Vivo logo reminds me of my Sony Vaio laptop which am using at the moment.

I am in a bit of a pickle and help from you fine people would be good. I ordered some Redmi 1s’ and of course the distributor was a fake and wasted my time, he sent me an iPhone 6 running android with the worse built condition ever, got my money back though. However now I am left to make new decisions again, should i go for the old redmi 1s or the redmi 2 or are there more favourable alternatives. Even better should I wait for my friend coming to China to get me a Jiayu S3 and would it be in the same price bracket? I think the latter is the best solution. Thank you guys!
