Xiaomi revealed their action camera earlier this week and already international resellers are listing the compact camera for pre-order.
The Xiaomi action camera is one of the latest generation of Chinese sports camera and as with all Xiaomi products it boasts impressive hardware at a low low price . Unfortunately for fans of Xiaomi not living in China the Yi Action camera won’t be officially launched at this time, but we can order it from international resellers.
Update: Honorbuy.com have contacted us to say that they have increased the cost of the Xiaomi Yi Action camera to $99.99 due to higher than expected costs. Still at this price the Yi is more affordable than GoPro cameras.

Honorbuy.com (formerly known as Xiaomishop.com) are already listing the Xiaomi Yi Action camera for $84.99. That’s only slightly more than Chinese retail price, but just a fraction of the cost of an equivalent GoPro camera.

Unless the video quality is like SUPER good, it’s not worth it, you will need to buy accessories and that will be like $40 for a decent kit.
I would rather get a SJ4000 for $45 dollars with shit loads of accessories and good video quality.

how exactly is 85USD slightly more than 64USD (399RMB)? That’s like additional 33% over Chinese price and if people in comments are right with 99USD it’s even 55% more than official Chinese price.
