More details and images of the Bluboo X550 released

bluboo x550

If Bluboo have peaked your interest with their new Bluboo X550 model then take a look at the latest details.

Bulboo are set to release their first major phone of 2015 in the coming weeks. Called the X550, the smartphone has been designed to address a few issues that consumers have faced with current models on the market.

Battery life is one of the areas that Bluboo hope to solve, and to do this they have manage to shoehorn a huge 5350mAh battery in to the 8.9mm thick phone for a claimed 3 days of use and 30 days standby.

LTE is another area of concern for many buyers and once that Bluboo feel they have cracked with the use of the newer quad-core MT6735 SoC from Mediatek. The main benefit of the MT6735 is the “World Mode 4G LTE” implementation for better global 4G support.

Bulboo have also revealed that their X550 will feature 2GB RAM, a 5.5-inch OGS HD display, quick charge, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The images also show room for at least one SIM and SD memory card, although we hope the official specs will include dual SIM support.

What do you make of the Bluboo X550? Could this be one of the phones to have for 2015?

Why only a 4G world wide mode ? The 3G is still very important everywhere.. a 3G world mode would make it a best seller for sure, and a great phone for all of us

Lol 3G still present… The only difference is the use of the SoC who support all 4G bands.

To weak imo, fhd+6752/3gb ram is the way to go this days, unless you go for the sub 150$ Nairobi market share

Probably because the main focus of this phone is the battery, a FHD screen would consume more power so it sort of makes sense to use a HD screen.

I’m not saying that it should be $150 or less. I was thinking of $200-250

Please please.. put dual sim support. This will not be the ‘come see my new, hightech, expensive phone takes stunning selfie’ thingy, this will be the actual handset people use on a daily basis, because we need functional phones. I’ll jump at it the minute it hits international resellers.
