Oppo’s phone’s are generally a little more expensive when compared to their competition, but even with the ‘Oppo tax’ the
Oppo A31 looks like a nice buy for a style conscious user.
The Oppo A31 follows the all glass styling of the older R series phones to create a stylish little smartphone for those users more interested in looks than all out power. As usual we see a rear 8 mega-pixel camera (possibly the same as the iPhone) with beauty features, giving a nod to the demographic the A31 is intended for.
As for hardware we have a 4.5-inch display with a 1990’s resolution of just 854 x 480. The chipset is a Qualcomm
Snapdragon 410 giving the phone
LTE support, plus there is 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory and space for up to 128GB SD cards.
Currently the A31 only comes with TD-LTE support for the Chinese market but there is a chance we will see the phone in other Asian markets. Chinese retail price is 999 Yuan and sales being on the 17th.
