Bluboo will be attending the Global Resource show in Hong Kong next week where they plan to launch their new LTE equipped Bluboo X550 and Bluboo C100 smartphones.

Bulboo have decided to make good use of the media attention they are sure to get during next weeks Hong Kong trade show. The 5 year old smartphone maker plans to release to new phones at the show both sporting the latest Mediatek MT6735 chips with World LTE Mode support.

Heading up the launch will be the Bluboo X550, a phone we posted about earlier in the month. The X550 ’s main selling point (besides global 4G) is the use of a 5300mAh battery with a claimed 30 day standby. The X550 will also feature 2GB RAM, and Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Next up, and perhaps most exciting, is the C100. The Bluboo C100 will cost just $99 on the international phone market yet boasts the same 64bit MT6735 SoC as the X550. Despite the low-cost Bluboo have also managed to get a 5-inch HD 720p display in to the phone and even Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Keep posted for more news as we get it.

What about the price of the x550? Is there a price known?

$99 international price for the x100 I really can’t picture how they manage to do it other than using cheap plastic and toddler saliva.
