Oppo have confirmed the Oppo R7 today, a phone seen in numerous spy photos over the coming weeks with a launch expected in May.

If you have been keeping up with the latest Oppo news then you will have seen details of a new device with a zero bezel design. The phone has been seen in numerous videos and photos, and although we all now know what it will look like we have very little idea what the phone is packing in the way of hardware.

Gizchina News of the week

Next month seems to be the launch time for the phone. Teasers today by Oppo tell us that the Oppo R7 is coming, the same name which has been attached to the leaked device in the past.

What se can tell about the Oppo R7 so far is that it will feature an alloy body, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 2.5D display with no visible borders to the left or right sides. Under the hood a Qualcomm chipset, at least 2GB RAM and VOOC are likely to have found their way inside the device.

Are we going to get a “Best Phone to buy on May-April” article anytime soon?
If you decide to write one, can you make it a 3 part article talking about entry-level, mid-range and flagship phones respectively.

We as buyers don’t get to hold and try out phones like you do. So a suggestion from you guys would really help use decide what our next smartphones should be.
