According to a Doogee press release sent out earlier this morning, the flagship Doogee F3 Ltd will ship with Snapdragon 810 chipset, 4GB RAM and more killer specifications.

Generally it is not easy for a smaller manufacturer to secure Qualcomm chipsets, but Doogee claim that have done just that and will be speccing the Snapdragon 810 chipset in their forthcoming Doogee F3 Ltd.

Top end processing needs a good deal of RAM, and while other phone makers settle for 3GB RAM, the F3 Ltd will boast 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB internal memory. If that’s not enough to get your attention then how about a 21 mega-pixel Sony IMX230 rear camera, 8 mega-pixel OV front, 3100mAh Sony battery and 5-inch 2K display from LG with 2.5D curve and Gorilla Glass 3!

Those are the specifications of a dream phone. A 5-inch flagship with the best of the best, but does it all seem to good to be true? While it is easy to get caught up in those specs, I still find it hard to believe that Doogee will be able to secure all that hardware for their upcoming phone. Even if it does become a reality though it will be the company’s first Snapdragon powered phone, which may also bring with it challenges for the phone maker.

If you are interested in the Doogee F3 Ltd then you can begin saving now as it will cost around $349.99 according to the press email this morning and will release after October so still a long time to wait.

looks like a damn interesting smartphone, if the specifications are true and they use newer sd810 revision which should not have the overheating problems, though 5inch 2K is just overkill…

  • Jade Belle

The sexiest flahship ever from DOOGEE if it’s true. Hard to believe Doogee will be so generous on their upcoming phone.

    • Ulti

You really love Doogee don’t you? All your comments seem to praise Doogee.

      • Jade Belle

Oh ..You don’t see when I praise. Looks like you hate it a lot.

        • Muhammad Yasir

          heheh…

  • saor

    What a load of shite.

    • looking for SD1620, 8GB RAM and 4K display were you?

      • saor

        No just the truth

        • Ah fair enough, I’d be pretty shocked if it actually launched like this too.

        • Max

and as we see one month later you and so many others were right. in their new announcement there’s no sd810, no 4GB ram, no 4k screen, no 21mpx back camera, 2200mah instead of 3100mah but at least swappable back covers…
well, if what they now announced is even true in the end.

          • saor

            Permission to gloat?

            • Max

              permission granted.

            • saor

I was right you suckers!!!!! Thanks

            • Max

              felt good, huh? XD

      • Muhammad Yasir

Good Lord , thats one hell of a reply ! 😀

    • Jade Belle

      What do you expect?

      • saor

Specs that are more true to that company. Not someone’s account of there dream phone

        • Jade Belle

          Good point..

  • Ailan Hidaz

S810….so we basically pay for a glorified heater. LOL

    • slartiblart

Basically this. The SD810 is not a good chipset. Stick with the 805. I would really stay from that5 chipset. Hell MTK is really very good and efficient now.

      • Muhammad Yasir

but no one uses 805 :'( , so few phones and they are sooo costly 🙁

      • csak1user

Why not a 808 as in LG G4?
        I prefer that one. 🙂

        • Scott O’gorman

I agree the 808 right now until samsung releases that 7422 chip that integrates the moden,GPU,and CPU all in one it will come with a price though

      • Scott O’gorman

My g4 has the 808 absolutely no heating or lag issues even pushing the 2k display

  • roobs

With that price, it should be able to make a splash. But time will tell.

  • Simon

If it sounds too good to be true……

  • Ruby

Good news. Timing would be excellent if it’s available before Christmas. Let’s hope Doogee doesn’t get the reject toaster-oven ‘810 chips that failed the QA tests at Xiaomi, LG and LeTV.

    • Muhammad Yasir

hmm…. i believe an october release is not doing it justice mid to late september would be better as better hardware is releasing by leaps and bounds and im worried , that Dogee , for what they are well known , might end up with YET ANOTHER out dated specced phone :/

    • bro-reac

I think that might be a bad timing as most of the tech lovers will gearing and anticipating the Oneplus Two

  • George

This will become reality when my wife will stop harassing me

    • Muhammad Yasir

      HAHAHA!

  • Adam Irvine

This seems very odd to me as Doogee just aren’t known to be able to make this type of device right..?

I thought they just make the cheaper end of the spectrum devices, lower than Elephone?

    • Muhammad Yasir

first time for everything , sir 🙂

    • Rob

They might actually do it, but it will probably break the 1st time you switch it on!

  • Xanadu

S810 coupled with old LPDDR3-RAM instead of LPDDR4? Typo?

    • alan4195

      I sure hope so.

  • realjjj

Using the 810 is just a really bad idea, the thing is great at idle and dies when you need it.

    • Muhammad Yasir

      HAHA

  • AHappyKoalaBear

lol 349 in your DREAMS ! at least 500$

    • Rob

The price I can believe as the 810 will probably be the MT6577 (dual core), the 2k screen 960×540 and the 4GB RAM will be 512mb so the price will be the least of it’s problems!

  • Abir

The phone looks really good on paper. But they are the key words ” on paper”.

  • Muhammad Yasir

well then… where are all u 5-inch wet dreamers ?

SUCH a great phone (if its true) but so little on screen size ?!
this should be 6.5 inches for TRUE gaming experience on that cpu and ram !

    • Rob

      Well said!!

    • Lars

It does sound like a great 5 incher but with Doogee I like to see it first before I get excited.

      • Muhammad Yasir

        ahaah … yeah , ofc

  • Mezz

    S810… no thanks

  • alan4195

Aww, Doogee. You were one 1080P display and an LPDDR4 RAM module away from designing the perfect phone. So close. Still might buy it if the build quality matches the spec sheet.

  • pa5t1s

Christmas? Santa Claus? already? Lol, now that’s what I call ‘marketing’ 🙂

  • jauling

I suppose its too much to ask that this phone be waterproof? 🙂

  • balcobomber25

Seems Doogee is trying to be taken seriously now. I applaud them for trying but they have been one of he companies known to lye about specs in the past.

    • Xalis

What lies? besides interpolated cameras they haven’t lied about specs.

Please don’t tell me you’re still living on gizchina.es ad-revenue scam.

      • balcobomber25

There are hundreds of reports all over forums about them lying about battery sizes, camera sensors and sizes, faking the android version and yes there is the Gizchina report. I know as a shareholder of Doogee you don’t want to hear any of this and will try to explain it all away as speculation and rumor but where there is smoke there is fire. One or two complaints is one thing, all brands have those, but with Doogee it happens on almost every release.

        • Muhammad Yasir

          DIS-f**king-Graceful !
seriously… WHO ON EARTH , LIES about their OWN product’s specs :O !

  • Scott O’gorman

Andi I’m really liking the reviews on the x10 helio SOC I watched your review on Letv 1 I hear they are already working on the x20 I’m not sure though SD or MTK though right now is any match for that Exynos 7422 chip I think it will eclipse the 60k barrier on Antutu I guess we will see it soon enough in the Note 5 ways you’re opinion?

  • Steven Fox

If this is true than Doogee have are willing to gamble and go all out on a headset in an attempt to conquer a larger share of the market or fall in general.
A real gutsy move I must say, hope they can cope with the cooling.

  • manohar basavaraju

Take this news with a pinch of a salt till they release it to the market…

  • sai bhagavan

    truely unexpected from doogee….

  • Dis

5″ is too small. 6″ only.

    • Xalis

      6″? lol what a n00b, 7″ or git out.

    • Mr.Flying Zoom3rz

8″ for a fully comfortable work mate. 😀

  • KS

??!!??…this just sounds incredible. Can’t wait to see what happens come October =)

  • jsbless

Z1 design looks much better than this

  • Mr.Flying Zoom3rz

I’m scrolling for the price, let’s see it….yeah not bad. 😀

  • Muhammad Yasir

this better not be a heater…

  • Gordon Tang

Any news on its release? Its gone all quiet on the doogee front…
