Got a Xiaomi phone that is begging to be updated? Then you can go ahead and download the global beta rom of MIUI 7 right now.
Xiaomi have today announced the release of a global beta program. After announcing MIUI 7 on 19th August Xiaomi have now began to roll out MIUI 7 Global beta ROM for the Redmi 1S, Redmi 2, Mi 4i, Mi 3, Mi 4, Redmi Note 3G and Redmi Note 4G.
From today the MIUI team are planning to release a global beta release every 2 weeks on Monday’s before 7pm Beijing time. The beta program allows users of supported Xiaomi phones to use the latest MIUI functions before they make their way in to the final stable releases. MIUI developers will also use this time to fix any bugs Xiaomi fans find while testing the new ROMs out.

How to install MIUI 7
To get MIUI 7 on your phone there are a few options. If you are already a MIUI global beta ROM user all you need to do is simply open the “updater” app and check update.
If you are on a stable version of MIUI then you will need to flash the beta ROM manually. To do this Xiaomi have got a great step by step guide over on the MIUI forums complete with download links to each ROM.
