Carphone Warehouse now accepting pre-orders for the Huawei Mate S

If you’re in the UK and looking to get hold of the world’s first phone to feature a Force Touch display, you’re in luck… kind of.

That’s because the Huawei Mate S, that happens to be the world’s first Force Touch phone, is now on pre-order via reseller Carphone Warehouse. ‘Kind of’, because you’ll only be able to get yourself the 32GB version of the Mate S which sadly does not feature a pressure sensitive touchscreen.

Nonetheless, there’s a few other things that come with the Mate S that should make the device worthy of buying this season. One, it features a 5.5-inch AMOLED 1920 x 1080p display, and is powered by the laudedĀ HiSilicon Kirin 935 processor, developed by Huawei in-house.

Moving on, a fingerprint sensor situated on the rear of the device means it’s in line with other flagships from around the world. Lastly, there’s a 13 mega-pixel main camera with an 8 mega-pixel sensor on the front that complete the phone’s specifications set along with a non-removable 2700mAh battery.

TheĀ Mate S can be had forĀ Ā£31 a month, or Ā£419.99 SIM free with delivery promised by 27th October.
