LeTV Le2 Pro Antutu shows Snapdragon 820

Antutu benchmarks are the the stable diet for anyone looking for tell tale signs of an new smartphone, and today they have revealed that the LeTV Le2 Pro is on the way with Snapdragon 820 chipset.

After Qualcomm made the Snapdragon 820 chipset official a few weeks back, we have all been wondering which Chinese phone maker would be the first to make use of the processor. Our money was on either Xiaomi with the Mi5, Oppo for the Find 9, Vivo’s Xplay 5S or a new LeTV model.

Gizchina News of the week

Well so far it is LeTV who are in the lead! Antutu details from a model named the X910. From the details we see the phone will sport a 5.5-inch 2K display, 21 mega-pixel rear camera, 4 ultrapixel front camera, 4GB RAM, 64GB memory and a Snapdragon 820 chipset!

Judging from the 5.5-inch panel we assume this will be an updated version of the LeTV Le 1 Pro smartphone which has been selling well all year, but in its current form runs a Snapdragon 810 chipset. The update SD820 version is rumoured for launch before the end of the year and will go on sale ahead of the Chinese New Year.

Nice find, but I fear that they will just send to USA and not Europe, right?

it doesn’t say it but i would guess US customers only because to you need to create an account to get an invite.

in the form to create an account there are a bunch of required fields
and there’s no one where you can switch country.

to be fair, the invite is only required for the lower price. i believe anyone will be able to order it at retail price, which i think is just under $800. i signed up for the hell of it, though my wife would kill me if i bought another tv we don’t need
