Vivo V3 is a new phone aimed at Global Markets launching 24th March

vivo v3 teaser

While Vivo haven’t launched the Xplay 5 outside of China, that doesn’t mean they have forgotten all about their global fans, in fact they have something special just for them in store.

All that is sure for now is that the new Vivo will be named the Vivo V3 and one of its main features will be speed, whether this means that the phone will have a Snapdragon 820 and 6GB RAM like the Xplay 5 though is another matter.

Vivo shared a couple of teasers with us that show crystal, metal and wood which is an obvious hint a the materials the phone will use. Likely a glass display (sapphire perhaps, metal chassis and wooden rear panel).

Vivo say that the Vivo V3 will launch in their global markets, so don’t get too excited and believe this will come to all countries, but rather India, Malaysia, Thailand etc. The launch date for the Vivo V3 is the 24th March stay tuned.

Vivo’s are either chunky and not exiting at all or quite expensive. If I get a Samsung, Sony etc. for the same price, I get similar hardware, better communities (custom-Roms…) and more cases and accessories. Besides that, Thailand is not the best country for buying phones I feel, since you usually got to buy them at official retailers for the rrp.

ignorance? did you say vivo is chunky LMAO, go get the average dimensions of vivo phones then talk, i cant argue “exciting” thats subjective, expensive is somewhat of a stretch like you say your getting similar hardware for the same price range i wouldnt say thats costly for specs, but you can say its more VALUABLE with those custom roms if you care about that

but i dont know first and only 6gbram phone, first 2k display(hate these lol), thinneset phone in the world, sounds like they have done things other would find exciting

Hmm… a Vivo V3 may well be headed to India. As far as I remember the V series is exclusive for India (supporting all Indian bands) whereas the rest of the world have the same product in Y series. Like the older V1 is known as Y35 in other countries. I have this funny feeling they will again mess up with the pricing and settle for an unjustifiable inflated price as they always do. As such in India BBK group products like Vivo & Oppo have become the laughing stock only due to this reason. Don’t get be wrong as Vivo makes high quality smartphones, but India is a very price sensitive market where Xiaomi, Lenovo, Coolpad & LeEco rule.
