Micromax wants you to choose between RAM and ROM with its new phone(s)

Micromax just announced a bunch of new phones, two out of which happen to be the Micromax Canvas 6 and the Canvas 6 Pro.

Interestingly enough, both phones are priced exactly the same, at 13,999 INR or $210. So, how exactly are the phones different from one another?

First lets take a look at what’s common between the Canvas 6 and the 6 Pro.

Both feature 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p FHD panels, the MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor (as seen on the Creo Mark 1), 13 mega-pixel rear cameras, microSD expansion and 3000mAh batteries.

Now for the differences. While the Canvas 6 has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM, the Canvas 6 Pro features 4GB RAM and halves the 32GB ROM. Given that the phone has a microSD slot, I’d assume the Canvas 6 Pro would be the obvious choice between the two.

Another point of difference is the front camera; the Canvas 6 gets an 8 mega-pixel shooter while the 4GB RAM Canvas 6 Pro has a 5 mega-pixel one.

Both phones will be available via the usual online stores in addition to the offline market in India.

Both r utter failures, in Indian network conditions, hardly 3 hr S.O.T. will be available. As usual these guys buy cheap Shenzhen maal, and fool ppl..better buy Xiaomi, Lenovo.

It will be too expensive after it will get on the hands of resellers.

That metal phone seems to be a clone/rebrand of Cong Metal.

They can never gain trust of tech savy consumers unless they stop rebranding.
Better to buy phones from chinese OEM’s like Xiaomi, Meizu etc rather than rebranded ones with very little after sales support.
