Homtom HT10 will come with magnesium-titanium alloy body

First venture to the uncharted waters of highend phones is starting to take shape for Homtom with their HT10 model. The revealed specs fit the plan and seems like the used material will fit too.

We already know from the previous leaks and information that Homtom HT10 is going to feature deca-core Mediatek Helio X20, second generation of iris scanner and global 4G network support.

Today we have learned the phone will also have the highend materials with magnesium-titanium alloy frame and of course CNC crafed. With titanium usage comes higher price hand in hand so it will undoubtedly have some impact on the price tag of the Homtom HT10.

Gizchina News of the week

Current speculations put the HT10 to the price range around 269.99$ and it remains to be seen if the Homtom can justify it with real quality product not just on paper.

I commend HomTom for not copying the dreaded iPhone 6.x design lines (bands on the back). Refreshing to see a rather nice design. I hope this is priced under 100 USD, since HomTom is unknown brand. Thanks HomTom.

How can you possibly expect it to cost less than $100 or even $200

Without knowing the exact alloy used this is 99% marketing. Aluminum Alloy in the 6000 series which is used in most metal phones contains small amounts of both Magnesium and Titanium. Knowing the brand I think it’s safe to say they are using 6061 Aluminium.

Design looks to be inspired by the Mi5. As for the Bezels I would wait to see the actual phone in use before making judgements. It could be like the new Elephone coming out where it is very near close to bezeless but if you look closely you can still see them.

I don’t like bezeless phones but that is the direction everyone is heading.

if this costs 350 it would be a steal(looking by specs alone) i doubt it will be 350 though, this maybe the only large battery “flagship” IN EXISTENCE buuut i know you like your phones slim like your women LOLOLL

It looks interesting but I think they need to keep the price under $300 to be successful. Over that price it would be competing with phones from Xiaomi, OnePlus and Honor. Given the choice not many people will pick an Oukitel over one of those more established brands.

      Yeeeiiii!!!! … Great find Hanson!!!
It sure looks great on paper. Kind of looks a bit like the Mi5 with that ligrh curve on the back. I would have chosen another omnivison for the main camera too but who knows.
I does look like a great deal if ever true.

ok so offtopic but just found this and got to share this.
    LeEco x820 with 5.5 inch 1440p, SD820 , 6GB RAM, 64GB NAND, 21Mpand 8MP cams https://gfxbench.com/device.jsp?benchmark=gfx40&os=Android&api=gl&D=LeTV+LeEco+Le+X820&testgroup=info

Their launch is in 2 days and we should expect this x820, the x620 with Helio x20 (5.5 inch 1080p, 3GB/4GB and 32GB , 16 and 8MP) and the x520 with SD652 (same general specs as the x620 but with 16GB version it seem and maybe no 4GB RAM version).
