UMi’s apparently aiming for the stars with its upcoming UMi Super. Earlier believed to be a Snapdragon phone, it turns out the phone will have a MediaTek processor.
The device was recently found to have been listed online with a price of $249.99. This makes the Super among the higher priced UMi — or any of the ‘export brand’ chinese company — phones at launch.
The specifications on the listing are in agreement with our previous spec report of the phone.

This includes a 5.5-inch (Sharp) 1920 x1080p display, a MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, USB Type C and a 4000mAh battery. The phone will have a fingerprint scanner on the rear, and will ship with Android 6.0 out of the box.
What’s more interesting is the stock arrival date; the listing mentioned that stocks will arrive 25th of June, which is over a month away from now. You can find the listing here.

Unfortunately, they raised the price by those $40 before sending out the coupons. Touch was $129 for like two weeks already at some resellers…

It’s definitely a looker but that cpu is a no go in 2016..They should have put in a snapdragon 652 or 650. What a waste…
UMi says only 10 will get it… If everyone gets the $70 presale coupon from UMi, it would be amazing for $180… I don’t think this phone is worth more than $200. I would go with the Vernee Apollo at this price.
