Doogee X5 MAX Pro with MT6737 will be launched by the end of the month

With Doogee X5 MAX already available for sale Doogee is preparing yet another small upgrade for the lineup and by the end of the month the Pro version of the MAX should see the light of day. So what should we expect from the Doogee X5 MAX Pro?

For starters we can expect the new 64-bit quad core MT6737 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, which should theoretically improve the performance by roughly 20 percent compared to MT6735 while being more energy efficient. Graphical core ARM Mali-T720MP2 clocked at 650 MHz should do the same for the graphic performance and 2 GB RAM with 16 GB of storage should cover the memory side of things. New chipset should overally improve the smoothness and better control of the HD resolution display and the 13 MPix camera. Doogee X5 MAX Pro will also have OTG, which should be more or less automatic these days but still worth mentioning.

Gizchina News of the week

As we mentioned befrore the Doogee X5 MAX Pro will be released by the end of May and the price should be roughly 15-20$ higher than the younger Doogee X5 MAX brother, which you can already buy for example here.

Seems like it. That’s becoming the norm for Karel “articles”. They are all glorified ads, very little or no objectivity in any of them.

I guess Karel is just a dummy author for ads, don’t think he’s a real person.

Actually the 6737’s performance is good, especially because the GPU is clocked 100-150Mhz higher than the 6735.
If you already own a 6735 or 6752, 6732 device, there is no need for an upgrade.
But if you are stuck in Snapdragon 210,400,410 and MT6580/6582 hell, then it`s worth it.
Phone looks surprisingly well for a 80ish $ device, but once again better save another 30 extra and get the Vernee Thor.
One thing Doogee has never, even been able to do is a proper camera on a sub 100$ device.

I think Doogee is one of the worst out there. It’s a matter of luck with them.

For the cheap device (smartphone), I will suggest you to get the Bluboo Maya, only $69.99 when on pre-sale with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 8MP+13MP camera, Android 6.0 and 3000mAh battery.

Sounds good on paper and in photos, but I predict three things.
1st – Will have huge bezels
            2nd – MT6580(only 3G), ancient GPU
3rd- Camera will not only not be as awesome as they say, but will actually be much below par.
4th- Probably real 2200mAh battery in there, and not 3000.
            Wait, that’s four things 😀

Considering how low the X20 sells for, anything less than an X10 is a pass for all but sub $100 phones.
