OnePlus 3 launch date confirmed for 14th June

More OnePlus 3 news this morning in the form of a launch date for the upcoming flagship device.

We’ve seen plenty of leaks for the OnePlus 3 from specs and renders to even that terrible selfie yesterday, but so far the company had been quiet over when they would eventually launch the phone.

However, one fan managed to get the date of launch from a OnePlus rep while discussing the availability of their Loop VR headset.

OnePlus 3 Specifications

So far we have discovered that the OnePlus 3 will feature a Snapdragon 820, and a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Other specifications include at least 32GB 64GB memory, 8 mega-pixel front facing camera, 16 mega-pixel rear camera, NFC, and a 3000mAh battery.

Renders of the phone (and leaked photos) show a curved metal device with physical home button below the display. The design looks similar to Oppo’s current flagship R9.

It’s great that the launch date is near but the question with OnePlus is when will the phone actually be available for purchase. Given their history I doubt that one could realistically expect to get his hands on one for a good number of months.

    Oneplus two was ugly.
    Oneplus three is ugly too.
    They need a new designer.
