Doogee T3 reveals more of its specifications

Doogee is really trying to release the info about the Doogee T3 luxurious model in small doses, even though with the alleged release date getting close they are picking up speed. But witn the T3 model already being late almost a year healthy portion of scepticism is absolutely logical.

We already know that the T3 will be quite unique in the design department , probably inspired with the ultra luxurious Vertu brand. Real leather is going to be used for the back cover, titanium alloy for the chassis and secondary small display built-in the top edge.

DoogeeT3 is also focusing heavily on the security aspect and will be utilizing all the possible Android 6.0 Marshmallow features along the extra level of DG security.

Today’s news reveal bits of info about the used cameras and on paper it’s indeed not looking bad. The rear shooter will be using the 13 MPix Sony IMX230 sensor OmniVision sensor with PDAF support, f/2.2 aperture and extremely fast focus in just 0.17s. Take the info with a pinch of salt though, because the only Sony IMX230 sensor i know has 21 MPix resolution…

Gizchina News of the week

Front selfie camera will be 8 MPix one with 88 degree shooting angle and plenty of extra functions like face beautification, smile detection, shutter sound, V-gesture and Smark Key.

Doogee also released few videos about the Doogee T3 paremetres so feel free to check them out have better idea about the upcoming device.

What’s this piece about? Is it an ad, a banner to click? Or the editor thinks its journalism

The only reason this has been ‘leaked’ slowly over the past year is for people to get used to the sheer ugliness of it in the hope it will ‘grow’ on them. Fact: It’s still fugly although the only aspect I do like is the screen on the top, but the phone has to have the thickness of a brick to accomodate it.

The quality of news on this website has been a bit off lately. I don’t want to sound completely idiotic, since the name is indeed GizChina, and not GizWorld or GizUK, but even then – the coverage more on relatively insignificant players these days, and most of the articles are beginning to feel like fillers.

I’m expecting more coverage of premium Chinese brands, possibly even non-Chinese brands than news from Doogee or HomTom…..

A Doogee for over 200$?? WTF? How desperate does one need to be to risk this?

Ugly and didn’t they already have a phone about a year or so ago with the same design almost and they were claiming it was a rugged phone but in reality was terrible?

I think, that you talk about the Titans2. It is really rugged and i thik it looks decent with the new ( fake sheepskin) back cover. I like the battery life and the strong frame, but the storage is devided into 2 partitions. That is annoying. You don’t get that problem with new phones. The Titans2 was waterproof and the T3 isn’t. Why?

I found the link of the waterproof test https://youtu.be/SV9VpFqMXiU?t=19m37s after he dried the phone it stopped working

I have seen this wideo. Waterproofness seems to be hit and miss sadly. My brothes washes that thing in the sink every week. Once water got in. There was no water under the flap or the rubber mat, but there was fog on the camera lens and water in the display. It dried out slowly. I wanted to take it apart immediately, but i waited for the response of the ebay seller. The water did not kill the phone and it was used while it was wet inside. The only thing that failed is the proximty sensor. I took it apart and i could not see any corrosion. I would not trust the waterproofness, but it is very rigid. I tried to bend it and i could not see or feel any flex. There is also a video where it is submerged in boiling water for 4 minutes. Waterproofness seems to be hit and miss, but otherwise it works fine

You can already buy it on Tinydeal. I don’t understand the purpose of this article. I personally like the desingn and that it has 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, but you have a point there. Its 2016 and it is less powerful than my note 3. It would be an awesome successor of the Titans2 but, the T3 is not waterproof and has a smaller battery.

Ah so this supposed to be a rugged phone but the reviewer mentioned that this phone supposed to (try to) look alike Vertu so by right the design must be elegant (not rugged phone). Very confusing rite ?

Right. It is confusing. Hosewer that thick frame can take a beating. Just a shame, that it is not waterproof
