Seems like Homtom are ready to satisfy the customer demand for the newest HT17 model and production rate is working as expected, because according to their official statement all the warehouses are stockpiled and everything is ready for the start of distribution.
Homtom are marketing the HT17 as the cheapest phone equipped with the MT6737 chipset and probably exaggerating the 20 percent perfomance boost over the previous generation of MT6735 devices. But only time and proper testing will tell us the real answer to that.
Nonetheless the good news is that the Homtom HT17 stockpiles are full and ready for shipments with all the color variants – white, blue and gold, so all the preorder customers should be looking out for the package to arrive soon.

Rather fast, the screen is ok, a bit of backlight bleeding at the top, the finger print scanner works well, and the battery is pretty good (could use it from 10 pm to 10 am with 4G, Youtube, and surfing without any problem :))
