Bluboo Picasso 4G – innovated version of the original Picasso is on the horizon

Bluboo engineers and probably even most of the company in general are currently focusing on the release of the new Bluboo Maya Max, which should be imminent. But that doesn’t mean they are neglecting the others brand lineups so they are only quietly working in the secret lab on the upgraded Bluboo Picasso 4G.

The original Bluboo Picasso is a pretty basic budget phone released at the start of 2016 and the company claims that the sales numbers and popularity are also pretty good. And well success breeds another success so they are planning to release an upgraded version with better hardware.

Gizchina News of the week

The new Picasso 4G just as the name suggests should have the 4G support thanks to the quad-core MT6735 processor clocked at 1 GHz and offering the 13 Mpix rear Sony camera, front 8 Mpix camera with the popular application Beauty Snap and the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Design will stay the same as with the original Picasso so the plastic back cover with the 3D “diamond” texture, 5-inch display with HD resolution, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of storage and 2500 mAh battery.

The price should be slightly higher than the predecessor, but still within an affordable range.

The better one is the xtouch with helio x10… Announced and never released, so you can’t find any review talking about its problems ?

“404: phone not found, but you can stick forever with a mt6753 and keep pushing rumors about an x10 variant to raise some hype”

Yup, they tried to hype their mt6753 xtouch by teasing a “pro” version with helio x10… Guess what?! The latter never make it to the market ?

I hope this time, the Picasso gets a better camera and a faster charger (4 hours is too much)!

So the upgrade is the same exact phone we’ve been seeing for almost 2 years from basically every company around… Interesting…

“2 years” was me exaggerating of course, but mt6735 has been around for more than an year now

Yeah, you are right. I thought you said that this phone is 2 years old. It needs the new MT6737 CPU and a better camera, to be interesting… It’s a pretty phone, but it sucks.

Yeah, I was talking about the fact that what they meant for “upgrade” is the standard “mt6735, 2/16gb, interpolated 13mpx camera, rather small battery” phone we’ve seen over and over again since the launch of this soc… Nothing new or exciting… Totally not what I’d call “innovated” like the title suggested lol
