DJI could be getting Oppo’s VOOC fast charging

Oppo have brought plenty of innovations to the Chinese smartphone market over the years and now one of their most loved might make its way in to the drone arena.

Along with rotating cameras, remote controls, and super thin chassis, one of the best known and much loved Oppo inventions is their super fast VOOC fast charging. VOOC was first seen on the Oppo Find 7 and an update was launched at MWC earlier this year.

Gizchina News of the week

The current VOOC fast charge tech is one of the fastest on the market and has even caught the attention of makers of other types of Chinese tech.

Word on the street is that Chinese Drone maker, ‘Apple’ of the quadcopter, could be working alongside Oppo to bring VOOC to their range of drones. This would be huge news for drone pilots and generally it can take an hour or more to charge the large cells needed to keep the UAV’s airborne.

Oppo are already teasing the release of something drone related with a release date of 24th August. Keep posted for more.
