Just today UMI have released a second software update for their latest UMI Plus model, as usual distributed through OTA. So what should we expect from the update ?
For starters the main camera gets some heavy optimizations with colors and auto-focus speed enhanced. Furthermore the low speaker sound volume got a boost and there are many more minor bugfixes and tweaks. If you don’t want to update through OTA you can always update manually and download it on the UMI forums here.

Meanwhile UMI engineers are finishing their work a Android 7.0 Nougat update, which should be available for UMI Plus, UMI Super and UMI Max very soon. We have seen the testing hands-on video already so it’s really close to a final build.
