OnePlus 3 getting Android 7.0 this month

Itā€™s pretty common for us all to have to wait to get the latest version of Android on our phones, but those of us with a OP3 might not have to wait quite so long.

OnePlus have recently confirmed that they will be releasing a beta version of their Android 7.0 update later this month. The news comes from Engadget who tells readers that OnePlusā€™s head of software had confirmed the roll out.

If youā€™re not one for wanting to run buggy Beta software on your phone though there should only be a slightly longer wait to get the final build on your phone, with the company hoping to have a full OTA updates rolling out before the end of 2016.

OnePlus 2 users are also in luck as they will also receive an update (although no time frame has been offered) weā€™re not sure whatā€™s going to happen with the OPX at this time.
