Xiaomi’s Yeelight launched LED ceiling lamp


Xiaomi smart home brand, Yeelight, has released a new connected lamp product for the home.

Yeelight has already released plenty of standalone lighting solutions for the home already, and to complement those products a new ceiling light has been launched by the brand.

The Yeelight Ceiling Light is currently in the crowdfunding stages of launch with a special ‘early bird’ price of 349 Yuan.

Being a smart product, the lamp will connect to an app allowing the user to mix their own colours (240 colour options to choose), adjust brightness, set a timer or simply control from in our outside the home.

The lamp uses 95 Osram LEDs with a power rating of 28w and an expected lifetime of 25,000 hours. The lamp body is also IP60 rated meaning it is completely sealed from dust.

      $50 converting from Yuan, but I assume it’ll cost more from online retailers..
