OnePlus deliver Android 7.0 for OP3, OP3T just in the nick of time

OnePlus promised an update to Android 7.0 Nougat before the end of 2016 for OnePlus 3 users. They’ve managed to do that (and a bit more) just in the nick of time.

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei announced on his Twitter on the 31st that OTAs for Android 7.0 Nougat builds for both, the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T were on the roll. The rollout, as is the norm, is being done in a phased manner keeping in mind the server bandwidths.

Besides that, OnePlus also announced the Open Beta program from the OnePlus 3T, which is live and available on the forums for volunteers to download.

The OnePlus 2 is expected to receive an update to Android 7 Nougat as well, but a fixed timeline on that has not yet been announced.

Any OnePlus 3/3T users here who’ve received the update? Let the community know abut your experiences with it.

Works quite smooth so far with a few bugs found until now. Ringer volume cannot be set to ‘vibrate only’ with volume rocker, ‘Alarms’ are always ON in each alert slider profile (no option shown to change that).

i do like the phones from one plus and it seems that they now want to be international players in the phone market.
also, they have realized that to do this they have to honor the guarantees on all of their products and embrace the idea of customer services.
    (better reviews equals better sales)
    bravo and good luck.
