Huawei sends out invites for their MWC press conference

The Mate 9 Pro and its 5.5-inch display

Huawei has, as expected, announced their plans for their press conference at MWC this year, and invites are being sent out. According to the invites, the company’s CEO will “share Huawei’s latest innovations and exciting advances”, which is pretty interesting.

This could mean that Huawei will be launching a brand new device at MWC, as per usual. What this device will be however is still unknown. We could simply assume it’s going to be the brand new Huawei P10, though it’s somewhat unlikely since the P9 was a no-show at last year’s MWC.

Gizchina News of the week

Last year’s Huawei Matebook

Also going from last year’s Huawei release at MWC, we could be looking at a new iteration of the Huawei Matebook. The device was Huawei’s first attempt at breaking the 2-in-1 Windows hybrid market, and it’s not tough to imagine they’d want to take another crack at it especially after the Matebook’s fairly lukewarm reception.

Whatever it is the company has in store for us, we’ll only get to see it later at MWC on the 26th of February. What do you think Huawei has in store for their MWC press conference this year? Will it surprise us, or will it just be the same old stuff Huawei’s already constantly pushing out? Tell us down in the comments section below.
