Elephone S7 functions

If you are an owner of Elephone’s latest “bezel-less” device, i.e. Elephone S7, then you’ll be glad to know that a new update will bring two new interesting functions. Let’s have a look!

As seen in the video, the two new functions, which are accessible in the “Screen On Gesture” part of the settings, are called “Multi finger startup camera” and “Free screenshot”.

Gizchina News of the week

How do they work? Well, have you ever wanted to launch the camera but by the time you get to the home screen and launch the camera app, the moment was lost? Now you can simply pinch the screen with three or more fingers to go directly to the camera app, thus saving some time.

The other function is a bit less exciting but still useful nonetheless, you can now capture a screenshot in a new way, that is by long pressing the home button, it’ll also give you some fun shapes to enrich the final image.

These new features sure add some cool functionalities to the Elephone S7. What do you guys think about them? Let us know in the comments below!

It seriously works pretty well. I’m using it from last month and believe me the home button works way more than a multifunctional key. They have added lots of functions inside the home button.

I own this phone. These gestures are tragic. The phone lacks of camera quality (too much noise), camera software optimization, and above all the use of stock android makes the screen to seem like as a simple hd (720p) or lower resolution screen. I have only one hope. In the near future someone to create a nice and fast rom.
