Lol, looks kind of ugly. What happened to the close to 90% screen to body ratio? I was looking forward to buying this phone, looks like I’ll have to wait a bit longer.

looks pretty good to me. but it will be out of my price bracket. luckily, they tend to drop quickly in price. I can wait

LG should just give up. It looks like a brick from the 90s! Please tell me it isn’t that fat? And bezels on the sides of the screen? Most phones are doing away with these…….and an 821 chip……welcome to 2015!

I think it looks much better than LG’s past attempts. The V20, G5, V10 and G4 were all hideous phones.

      The SD821 wasn’t around in 2015…

The SD821 was a minor upgrade to the SD820 which was launched in 2015. According to stats it resulted in a 10% increase in performance, so not much, so it’s essentially an SD820 from 2015 re-branded to make more money LOL

    Further from Weibo:

    – Confirmed no SD 835
    – No 8 GB Ram
    – No OLED Display (It will be an LCD variant)
    – Possible Tier-2 storage (not the fastest that is)
    – No 128GB version
    – No dual sim + dedicated SD card slot support
    – Possibly only a single sim version (this is suicidal)

    Bye Bye LG.

I wouldn’t go solely by Weibo, a lot of the time it ends up being wrong. But a lot of this could be true. Especially with the rumors of Samsung being the only one to get the SD835.

As for the rest it will depend on how LG prices it. 8GB isn’t really needed in a phone today, 4-6 is more than enough for most users. 8 is just for bragging rights. As for SD slot and dual sim, every LG flagship has had it over the last two years including the just released V20. I would take that with a grain of salt, LG is one company that follows their own tradition.

It’s actually not bad looking, the first for LG in a long time.
