Vernee Apollo Snap Deal

Vernee Apollo

Vernee Apollo is not giving up and after a fairly successful impression left in our detailed review the phone is here up for grabs with a snap deal event. Granted it looks like more of an everlasting deal cos the price is always hovering around the $250 mark, but still.

Not much more can be said about the Vernee Apollo anymore, you know the phone’s hardware through and through so let’s just quickly point out the most interesting things. Like the 5,5-inch LTPS display with 2K resolution, Helio X25 processor, 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM, 64 GB eMMC 5.1 storage, full metal build, 21 Mpix Sony IMX230 rear camera with PDAF capable of 4K recording, 8 Mpix selfie camera with 84 degree wide angle, quick charging of the 3180 mAh battery, both USB Type-C audio output and 3.5mm jack or fast fingeprint scanner.

Gizchina News of the week

And of course because the phone is marketed as a world’s first MTK VR flagship there is VR Box as an automatically added packaged-in accessory. The snap deal is available on Aliexpress and the price is currently down to $245.69.

I guess it must support every cellular frequency, since they dont see deem it necessary to list it on the sales page.

It supports band 20, so if you’re from Europe you’re fine.

It ia s great phone, I have only one problem with the camara. The cameraworks fine when taking pictures, but when I want to film the camera freezes. After a restart the camera is working again. The same problem occurs when using an app with camera use (eg bar code scanner)or an app with flashlight use, the the camera freezes.
I already did a factory reset and I have the latest OTA.
I think (hope)it is a software problem and the next update will fix it. So except for the camera issue it is a great phone.

Really weird problem, it doesn’t happen on mine.. You should write Vernee to make sure they know about this bug and fix it in the next update.
